Ilona Chan belongs to a middle-class family in Hong Kong, during her early years of education, she focused a lot to improve the standard of English via learning.After completing her MBA, Ilona started creating relationships for the sake of organization. At the initial stage, Di Guo Property Limited involved exclusively in the construction of “Di Guo City”, a project measuring 120,000 square meters. Analysis
The long term goals to ensure the development of the Entertainment City (EC)schemewas to provide government officials and business leaders a facility with an environment that was similar to the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The short-term objective of EC was to offer DG-PD with a favorable environment for humanizing friendly relationships with various government officials and bankers. These relationships would then be utilized for the purpose of project financing and other approvals for all the Di Guo Group activities. The DI Guo Group has to identify the issues and features concerning the organizational behavior. Organizational behavior is the study of human behavior in an organization andthe interface between the organization and human behavior. The company faced several challenges within the organization.
Ilona Chan needs to understand the Chinese culture to promote the employees as well as encourage them to understand the organizational behavior. She would suggest that it is a challenge for her to tackle the issues and conflict that arise within the organization.Ilona Chan was very concerned about the employees working in the EC site office because they were not following the culture of the organization. They were not responding to the company’s policies and procedures as per the company’s vision and mission.Ilona Chan identified that a human behavior is a vital component for organizational performance and productivity.
