This case is based on the need for the Canadian real estate trust to obtain financing for large capital expenditure at a time when credit markets are virtually frozen. Students were asked to evaluate the financial statements of confidence to determine the amount of funding required, and then to evaluate alternatives in order to meet the funding gap.
