This note introduces students to the dynamics of a hostile takeover setting and characterizes the problem as "a game". In this connection, it is necessary to understand the other players and their ways of thinking, defensive tactics and rules (laws and legal precedents), in which players compete. The study covers these concerns and discusses the probabilistic analysis with which players will be able to evaluate the possible effects of various parties. This document has been prepared to supplement the case discussion hostile takeovers.
