@Hoc: Leveraging Israeli Technology in the United States Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case usually discusses @hoc, a new software idea by an internet service company. The idea was mainly developed by two Harvard Business School graduates. The software when loaded into browser, enables immediate, context-sensitive information retrieval and shopping. @ Hoc's R&D team is in Israel while the remaining business is in Boston.
A business prototype and written business plan was developed by July 1999. They also intend to raise funds of about $1 billion to $1.5 billion. The entrepreneurs want to ascertain at what valuation capital can be raised by them and whether they ought to raise more capital than initially planned. A unique characteristic of this case study is that it includes a subsidiary version of the original business plan.
