Since 1997, Germany has seen an unprecedented boom in high-tech start-ups and IPO. Long considered a "desert" for high-tech and business, so that Germany witnessed spectacular mushrooming technology-based casting company in the last three years, transforming the country from laggards to the clear leader in the European high-tech enterprise. Although it seemed to come from nowhere and mixed conventional wisdom about the strengths and weaknesses of Germany, the rise of the German high-tech did not come immediately, but instead is limited to a good three decades of trial and error in the high-tech policy sponsorship.
