Electronic Trading System (ETS) was the flagship project under (HKSAR) in Hong Kong administration of e-government strategy to provide an example for the adoption of electronic media for government operations with the public and business. With the success of the initial launch in April 2000, the HKSAR ETS will be expanded to all other public procurement, in order to transfer 80% of all procurement tenders online by the end of 2003.
