Google out of China Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Despite concerns about censorship and putting users in danger, Google decided to launch Google.cn in 2006. Google said that it will monitor the conditions in China and even to rethink its approach to China, if warranted. Three years later, in December 2009, Google revealed an extensive and sophisticated cyber attacks that target specific companies and employees in the company. Google investigated the attack and said that change its approach to China. Google will no longer censor results in China and found that the move could lead to the closure of Google.cn. He then moved its search business in Hong Kong, to the outside of the big firewall. This is considered the ethical dilemmas raised by Google's foray into the Chinese market, trying to adhere to its motto "Do not be evil."
