Goodjobz: Challenges in Creating a Giver Culture Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

GoodJobz was a non-profit organization that funded its occupation training and education programs by reselling donated goods through its retail stores. The organization hoped to double that number within five years and helped train over 11,000 people in 2012. To do so, the vice president of advertising and community development believed that the organization should embrace a "giver" tradition. Subsequent to making noticeable advancement in encouraging a giver culture within his own department, he tried to sway his focus to some other department: Business Services.  However, any attempts were hindered by the vice president of business services to do that. The vice president of community development and promotion was faced with the challenge of how exactly to handle this crisis. Atul Teckchandani is affiliated with California State University.
