Environmental Management System (EMS) is a relatively new and highly innovative management techniques, which provide the company with additional sources of information and leverage on the environment and their business processes and performance. This article presents the results of a survey of industrial enterprises that have adopted EMS. He believes that the EMS-related factories, which are larger, more advanced on the total quality management, and more innovative in general. SEM is also a useful tool for managing community relations and addressing key stakeholders on potentially contentious environmental issues. In addition, EMS plants appear to pose less risk to the environment and to the communities report that their adoption and use of EMS is an important factor in achieving this result.
