Forest City Tennis Club – Pro Shop and Bar Lounge Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This is part of the subset of Ivey cases and technical notes written for Opening-Level classes. After one year of operations, with assistance from the company's accountant, financial statements must be prepared, by the new manager of pub cocktail lounge and a tennis pro shop from notes kept throughout the year.

The case is meant to be an introductory activity in bookkeeping for simple transactions relating to expenses, liabilities, revenues and assets. Adjusting entry like cost and amortization of goods are needed. Pupils are requested to complete the accounting cycle by preparing an income statement and closing entries and balance sheet.
