Food Donation Connection is a for-profit firm that creates sustainable value - value for both shareholders/owners and stakeholders - by facilitating the redistribution of excessive prepared food from donor corporations, including restaurants, convenience stores and grocery stores, to charities that distribute the food to folks in need.
In executing its mission of "Let nothing be wasted," the company addresses the extensive food waste in the retail and wholesale phases of the food supply chain, a key pressure point in international food waste. Food Donation Connection has managed successfully for more than 20 years in the United States; however, chief executive officer and the founder is presently thinking about the company's future. He should determine how and whether to expand the business services globally. Chris Laszlo is allied with Case Western Reserve University.
