Failure is a subjective word, which by literal meaning is failing to achieve desired goals and objectives with the allotted time or resource. Every individual in every aspect of life tastes failure in any given circumstances, which makes the word failure subjugated to the circumstances and instances. Failure is putting up efforts, and yet not fulfilling the task or achieving desired ends, while it is completely different to not trying something. As once, a legendary basketball player, Michael Jordan said: “I can accept failure, everyone fails, but I cannot accept not putting effort.”
I have faced numerous let downs and failures in my life. These failures have taught me very important lessons. There was one particular instance where I had given my best;still, I fell short of my desired results. I had long been ambitious about starting my own tattoo parlor.Having a business background, I decided to take up the project. I started to research in my vicinity about the operations of the tattoo parlor on my own. Before starting my own tattoo parlor, I worked for 3 months at another parlor to get more experience about the complexities of the business. I used up all my savings and borrowed some amount from my father. Finally, I had investment, experience and market research about tattoo business. I decided to add complementary and additional services to make it a more attractive place.

It’s still my dream to set up my own tattoo parlor. I had gone to every length to make it happen and made decisions based on market research and pure instincts. This is the only thing I remember in which I had put my heart and soul. I ran the business for about a year, and it was a complete failure and did not yield the desired results for me and I came to know there were many more complications that I was not aware of. The business did not do well and I had to depend on my parents to support me. I finally decided to close that business and go for a regular full-time job which I was doing earlier. I was heartbroken and miserable as I tried everything to pull off this task but I realized that there was a big difference between ground realityand paper research.
I learnt a great deal of patience and determination unless I was made to close that business from my family and friend. This experience increased my desire for a tattoo parlor even more. I planned to open up my very own tattoo parlor once I would be well settled and had accumulated a very sound amount of investment. Now, I have friends in that particular domain of business and expertise of one year. I know more complexities and am willing to take the challenge to fulfill my dream of having a parlor.
I had tried and executed everything to perfection and I still failed. I gained experience for the future and I learnt that you need to be completely well prepared for the project you are undertaking to achieve something.....................
