This article describes how managers can learn how to empower their employees through the way they communicate with them. The note is intended as a thought piece before making skill development exercises on various approaches described in the note, including listening, clarity, invitations, and a description. Language is our primary means of communication. This limits our thinking, reflect our core values, and is the most common means of sharing our thoughts and beliefs. The language we speak can convey certain ideas and makes us confused about how to transfer to other thoughts. In fact, the language may prohibit us to grasp and understand some of the concepts and can make other concepts available to us. With his power as a central means of communication goals, thoughts, plans, instructions, requests and so on, in the business world, language is perhaps the most important management tool we have.
