The 2012 U.S. presidential election between President Obama and Governor Romney gave both sides reasons for optimism.
As such, it was popularly considered to be anyone's race. The election generated an extensive range of polling in the national and state level. Despite the prosperity of information, it still was not clear to a lot of folks whether the contest was "too close to identify" or whether one nominee had a decisive lead. On the evening of the election, two friends determine to wager on the outcome and discuss why the result might or might not be a close one.
