Edward Norris and the Baltimore Police Department (A) Case Solution
This undisguised case deals with the subject of handling crime and outstanding direction fighting as a company. It offers pupils a chance investigate and to design a large scale organizational change initiative and develop an extensive action plan for managing it. The challenges comprise low arrest rates, decreasing population, racial tension, adverse effects on company, funds, essential media, entrenched crime, and a police department with a dysfunctional organization and underused resources and culture. In the A case, pupils are requested to lay out their action plan for coping with the scenario and, in so doing, have to wrestle with most of the problems in handling large scale organizational change. This case series was taught quite successfully as a two-day course. Both instances contain wide-ranging video clips for faculty use and pupil training in course. A teaching note is accessible for faculty that is documented.
This is just an excerpt. This case is about LEADERSHIP & MANAGING PEOPLE
