EcoMotors is examining the ways to develop innovation in the internal combustion engines for its application in automotive and industries. In contrast to the conventional in-line or V-oriented 6, 8, or 12 cylinder gas or diesel engine, the OPOC engine is a two-stroke engine and opposed pistons.  As compared to the four-stroke engine, the two-stroke engine had the capacity to produce more power output and is inexpensive as well. Currently in the U.S. market, four-stroke engines are often used in generators, cars, and boats while two-stroke engines in chainsaws and lawnmowers. Would it be better for the company to be a completely integrated power and transport solution provider, or an engine producing and designing firm that would sell to marine, auto, and OEM firms, or an invention organization licensing its technology?
