An Architect in Melbourne, Khai Yip's previous involvement as S2F Design Director was in master planning and architecture for R&D facilities, biotechnology and technology intensive manufacturing processes in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Malaysia and India. On biotechnology and technology processes for climate change, Khai Yip has conducted fundamental R&D and contributed investments, IP & knowledge to support ESD ventures to attain UNFCCC CDM approvals, Malaysia BioNexus status, Pioneer Status in the Malaysia Multimedia Super Corridor and grant of investment incentives by the Malaysia Industrial Development Authority, MIDA. Khai Yip readily shares his knowledge and experience by contributions to tertiary and postgraduate academics, business network and industry forum in Australia and Asia, inter alia, serving as a panel judge in Swinburne Venture Cup, co-authoring a business case as a reference chapter for postgraduate business school and a guest speaker in entrepreneurial lectures. Formed in 2008, Enviro Venture procures ESD objectives for renewable resources and greenhouse gas abatement, and supports Enviro Borneo in promoting bioremediation campaigns and fostering biotechnology applications via Corporate Social Responsibility at the community level in Borneo.
