This case series of three-part evaluates the potential challenges of distributing spices in Southern India from 2008-2012. The (A) part of the case depicts the techniques and approaches that helped Eastern Condiments in Kerala to quickly rule the regional market by 2008, on the other hand, yet not had the desired returns in the adjoining state of Karnataka in 2009-2012. The (B) part of the case depicts the different approach to resuscitate the business in Karnataka and its outcomes. It also generates a need to reconsider the existing strategy in its local market, when the Kerala’s market begins to decline.
