In 1996 meningitis epidemic swept across Nigeria. Thousands of children were hit, and not having the appropriate medicine, tended to die from the disease. Doctors Pfizer was the antibiotic that can probably save most of their daily life. The product was new, however, and have not yet passed clinical trials with children.
