Domino's CEO, David Brandon had actually long back broken the mold made by Domino's creator, Tom Monaghan, in his previous 39 years of management. Monaghan was a peaceful, conservative guy who had actually grown up in an orphanage and constructed a worldwide business from absolutely nothing who chose to offer Domino's in order to commit his time and fortune to spiritual and charitable activities.
Brandon was most happy of Valassis being consistently called one of the 100 Best Places to Work by Fortune publication. In 1999, Monaghan offered Domino's to Wall Street financial investment bank, Bain Capital, which called Brandon CEO.
