Deloitte Consulting GTA: The Deloitte Dads Initiative Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Deloitte Dads is a company-sponsored range and addition initiative proposed at supporting working fathers within Deloitte, an independent individual of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited international network. With support from senior management, a junior advisor in the management consulting department in the company's Greater Toronto Area office established in 2010 Deloitte Dads and fast gained members and media interest.

The group not only had to be clearly dissimilar from other parenting initiatives already in place but had to negotiate jointly with the performance management practices, which historically had not considered flexibility in appraising workers of the business. In 2013, the creator was speculating not only if the group might be rolled out to other divisions within the business throughout the country and possibly across the world but also how best to supervise its success while managing his own livelihood and also the demands of being a true dad of two small children. How could he create a proper governance model, although he had mastered the quarterly events within his office? Working 80 to 90 hours each week, with no end in sight, how was he going to make Deloitte Dads sustainable and successful?
