Carolyn Glasow recognized a chance to leverage a quantitative method of sourcing future allotments across sellers that will also improve the short term demand transparency that was provided to the business key business associates, which could result in increased negotiating power for price discussions and production lead-times. This was a recurring dilemma for Glasow and her team that is sourcing should she allocate product purchases among the many producers that bid for the possibility to furnish merchandises to DD Traders?
