The head office at Golden Horseshoe Constructors (GHC) was reasonably void and calm at 6:05 a.m. First thing the president expected that morning was a decision from the vice-president (VP) of purchasing. As he was seated in his office and was evaluating the bids for a forthcoming apartment project to recommend a window and door installation supplier for the portion of the job. Only a day before, the president recommended the Monyash Doors and Windows to select as a supplier, although it had not offered the lowest bid. Practically, the supplier with the lowest priced bid could only win the contract, but the president’s request made him confused that which of the four bids he should propose.
