Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation (DNATF), government agency, is investing in public-private partnership to promote the commercialization of Danish research in industrialized countries. DNATF developed a process for evaluating proposals, which makes the project awards, and then actively manage these projects to try to improve the likelihood of success. DNATF has a small staff of project managers, who act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the projects. SPOC faced with a wide range of projects rich scientific and technical complexity of the issues, far beyond the capacity of one person to support special knowledge of the issue.
