Washington Redskins is professional American football team that competes in National Football league. It is owned by the American businessman, Daniel Snyder. The Washington redskins team has been in controversy with its name redskins, which has been understood as slang.

Similarly, being balanced into making decision is necessary, because being autocratic would create buisness, and consultative decision would also represent the autocracy in decision making. However, staying collaborative with the team and approaching the decision systematically through avoiding being impulsive or over confident would lead to a correct decision.

On the other hand, leaping the conclusion based on the invalid assumptions shows the intended mistake in decision, because invalid assumptions are unchallenged, as well as they indicate poor judgment of the information.

Decision Making Process

While making the decision, it is more important to look at the information, and avoid common mistakes that could result in poor decision. These are the questions that should be asked when making the decision:

  1. What I have (Information)?
  2. How can it be interpreted?
  3. Is it relevant information?
  4. Whom does it address?
  5. Who are most affected by decision?

However, it is more important to avoid invalid assumptions, and avoiding blind spots as well.

While making the decision, tunneling vision would magnify what is running in the mind of the decision maker, however, he will not be able to see what is going on there outside.
