A number of small businesses are changed-often in remarkable ways-by the increasing presence of MNCs in their home markets. Small-Scale business often find themselves facing a very hard set of alternatives as they believe whether and how they should connect with the MNCs. This article significantly evaluate the strategy smaller businesses are adopting in a globalizing world.
The best strategy for globalization is through partnerships with local MNC subsidiaries-in their own backyard-which can then be leveraged to generate opportunities on an international scale. This evaluation especially emphasizes the need for small-scale enterprises to exploit to their advantage the points of disparity (i.e., asymmetry) between them and the MNCs with whom they associate.
