Corporate Solutions at Jones Lang LaSalle (2001) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Peter Barge, Director General of the newly established group of enterprise solutions company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), the restructuring of U.S. corporations performing real estate services division, which will allow the company to offer its customers integrated solutions. Barge created Account Control feature to coordinate the three products based on business units, which are still operated independently. As he runs restructuring, Bank of America, important account of the company, announced its intention to reduce its two or three providers that can offer advanced, integrated services. While the new organization of the barge is not yet fully in place, he is determined to win the Bank of America business, and quickly went to work to create a senior manager and organizational architecture that will encourage cooperation within the group.
