Colombia: Is There a Light at the End of the Tunnel (B) Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case series is designed for use in training courses in political economy and economic reform process (see also the case, UV1604). It transports students in the rugged coast of Colombia. Students must struggle with the paradox that the Colombian economy has been a shining star in Latin America, according to some measures, even though the country was sitting on an unstable political base. (A) allow the consideration of the case of the process of economic reforms in the context of Latin America. By the mid-1990s, economic reforms, the Colombian economy transition from their internally focused on integrating into the world economy, the so-called aperture Economy.
