The situation in the home care industry is changing. The industry is moving towards consolidation, and in favor of large companies. Closing the gap, a small provider for home care in Ontario, reaches the intersection. The company has three strategic choices: (1) to sell the company, (2) to buy another company, or (3) to grow organically. In these circumstances, students will be asked to analyze the industry and assist the chief executive officer (CEO) to close the gap to take the appropriate decision.
