From the beginning, both parties have been helped by the arrangement between CMC and Peace Medical. Jiang was nearly in his mid-30s when he co-established Peace Medical. He is accustomed to a generation of business heads who came of age through the ongoing transition of China from an economy governed by central planning to one running according to market processes.
