Canadian Closures was a joint venture between the Australian company, Melbourne Closures (Melbourne), and McLean Sports (McLean), which was founded in Canada. The joint venture is made of beer bottle caps are based on the technology of Melbourne, it was the only customer McLean 10 plants. Continuing product quality and performance issues led to the replacement of the general manager. New general manager faced with these issues and balance what is best for the parent company in the short term and what's best for the joint venture in the long term. McLean wanted reimbursement for faulty caps that will have a significant impact on profit goals as parent companies of the joint venture is expected to meet.
