This case talks about Cable Data Systems (CDS), a minority owned cable company thatcompany that is for profit and gives employment opportunities to ethnic minorities. Furthermore, it also talks about the challenges it face in operating. After the merger of similar firms in the Boston metro area, direction at the combined thing (CDS) forecasts strong growth for its services. So, the support and workforce infrastructure is built out by them. But the company starts to lose cash in light of volatile customer demand and high labour costs. The latter is exacerbated by open and deteriorating union issues. Analyzes the choices the CEO has to raise earnings and reduce labour costs. Great problems with the previous owner, who has stayed employed by the new business further complicate the decision.
