Brazil at the Wheel, Spanish Version Case Solution
This case is taught in the second year of the program MBA regarding the Evolution of International Business. Analyzes the costs and advantages of the Brazilian government's policies to support foreign multinationals to develop an automobile industry during the 1950s. A mix of market close and incentives were used to bring foreign direct investment. Volkswagen reacted more favorably than the U.S. companies Ford and GM and was capable to become market leader as a result.
