The business's Board of Directors, which now used free cash flows as a key performance indicator, believed that cash flows could be boosted by Thor through management practices that were lean. Amphlett understood that comparing inventory management across businesses was challenging, because inventory accounting processes differed through businesses in the recreation vehicle industry.
