Implementation of Ariba at MED-X case is designed to teach students how to analyze programs that are having problems and recommend solutions. In particular, in the case introduces students to the earned value analysis and surveillance programs for e-procurement technology program. The case centers on the need for MED-X, to quickly find out why the e-procurement project the company is not going to plan. Once it was discovered, students will need to make recommendations to address the problem. Data for simplified program, consisting of two parallel projects available to students, which in turn must analyze the project using earned value analysis.
