Despite being the strongest army in the world, the U.S army failed to maintain its status as a profession due to failing to practice the characteristic of honorable service and achieving the objective of promoting peace and security within the country as a result of killing the General Commander of Iraq. As a consequence of this decision, the U.S put its citizens at risk as Iraq retaliated against the U.S and attacked the U.S troops in Iraq. Similarly, the U.S wasted billions by adopting unrealistic strategies and plans to train Arab armies which shows their lack of expertise and professionalism. The retired General of the U.S army also violated the characteristic of stewardship by influencing Russia’s votes related to Israeli settlements,and failed in maintaining the status of army as a profession.
