Environmental entrepreneur Andrew Mangan contributed to the reaction product (BPS) program as a means to achieve sustainable development goals. BPS is a process that helps companies find new ways to convert their waste into marketable products. Mangan objectives were two-fold: to promote wider acceptance of the BPS programs and create a business of helping companies to adopt such programs. Mangan face as business and administrative barriers, not all of which he was able to overcome. Critical support from EPA was given orally, but the real action has not been implemented. Mangan is also necessary to develop a pricing and business models that will support the application of sustainability. Recent events, such as relations with the State of New Jersey, offered a positive outlook, although much uncertainty remains. Mangan reflected on his decade-long struggle, he considers his options.
