Apple Inc. sued Samsung Electronics for approximately $2 billion, contending that Samsung offended some of its patents by duplicating Apple's product attributes.
Apple’s expert team used analysis as a way to assign a value to the product attributes in question-therefore trying to gauge the magnitude of Apples' revenue loss as an effect of the patent infringement. This case asks students to rate the design of this study in addition to the pros and cons of its own use in this context.
