A world-wide automotive parts corporation buys out an aftermarket brake part maker, VC Brakes after the 2008 fiscal catastrophe. Unlike its previous parent company, the brand new owner tries to shift VC Brakes' autocratic management style as well as finger pointing culture with a Total Quality Management (TQM) program.
Andrew Ryan is a senior manager at VC Brakes. As a TQM website instructor, he's chosen with a reputation of a successful change agent and the guidance of a strong mentor. A subsequent restructuring sets Ryan on the incorrect side of politics, and he must decide whether to leave VC Brakes or stay with all the losing initiative.
