Amyris Biotechnologies Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Amyris is a biotechnology company biofuels launched in 2003 and is based in Emeryville, California. Currently, the company develops and represents the expansion of technology for the production of three transportation biofuels: bio-diesel, bio-diesel and bio-jet. He hopes to bring its biofuels to market as early as 2010. The explanation, as Amyris started at the University of California, Berkeley Laboratory in 2002. The team used a novel approach to engineer microbes to produce specific useful compounds from anti-malarial compounds. In the end, they turned their attention to the fuel molecules.
