In February 2009, the Human Resources office to connect in Toronto advertising agency Ambrose and Bisaro (& B) just finished an interview with a candidate for one of the eight positions of a summer internship. Due to the economic downturn, and B were expecting more qualified candidates for these positions, most notably in 2009, like many of their direct competitors reduced their internship program. Throughout the interview, the candidate of experience in human resources associated with their behavior, enthusiasm and extra-curricular activities, but the candidates did not have marketing experience. At the end of the interview the candidate said she got an interview in five competing advertising agencies and had three offers of the company. Several taken aback, human resources associates realized that to make a very quick decision: to extend an offer to a candidate, or wait and interview the remaining applicants and risk losing this "Hide
