Describes the evolution of AFP Provida, one of the first entrants in the Chilean pension fund system was created in 1981. By 1999, AFP Provida was not only the largest administrator of pension funds in Chile, but also the largest in Latin America, the number of branches and the second largest in terms of assets under management, after Brazilian PREVI company. Provida was also the most international companies in the industry. At the turn of the 20th century, the top management Provida was considering how to expand the company's position in the rapidly growing international market.
