The case describes the situation before the vice-president of the corporation-CAT (A-CAT), the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. A-CAT production of a relatively wide range of electrical appliances for household use. Typical products from its product line includes TV signal boosters, Transformers, FM-radio kits, electronic ballasts, battery chargers and voltage regulators. Voltage regulators for the production A-CAT were used for different purposes, however, the focus was on its flagship product, VR500 - voltage 500 VA. Over the past few months, this model has faced stiff competition and was not able to meet the expectations of the market. Leadership is
