The social elite developed historically, museums in Europe, and many have their origins in royal groups which were closed to the public. Nevertheless, during the nineteenth century, they started to open their doors to visitors, a move imagined as a way of assisting to educate the masses. During the final third of twentieth century, the role that museums play in society developed: they transformed from being places for the display, preservation along with storage of artworks, virtually their only particular function for the larger part of their living, to focus on public info and instruction. Over recent years, there have been important changes when it comes to the design and development of museums, some of which are listed below.
