In spite of the incident on the rise, British Airways pilot, after discussion with the airline engineers at Heathrow Airport in London, decided to continue the flight without interruption. Although the plane landed safely in England, the decision to continue the flight went hail of criticism and caused tensions between the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the CAA, the UK equivalent.
