Manager of occupational health and safety services in the London Health Sciences Center (LHSC) is a member of the development plan for the preparation of LHSC to manage the various issues in the event of an influenza pandemic, particularly in hospitals. Such an event would put a strain on the LHSC staff and the organization's ability to provide medical care. Manager must resolve a number of ethical issues, while ensuring compliance with Ontario's health and safety. It also has to recommend how best to communicate the plan LHSC staff.
