Members of technology transfer office are creating a commercialization plan related to a new peptide. The aim of this technological group at University of Western Ontario is to identify ways to develop such creations, and to prospect for acceptable technologies for commercialization, to manage the patent protection for such inventions.
Two licensing opportunities are being contemplated, both of which entail creation of a startup company. The representatives must appraise alternatives to decide which offers the best potential for the commercialization of the innovation for everyone.
