Taxi! Role-Play Two Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This is a Darden case study. Sold as a set, this roleplaying series supports pupils to simplify divergent points of view when in leadership roles. Before seeking answers, students must get a clear, comprehensive picture of the problems at hand. Using the "desire-got-difference" model works well. The substance affords students a chance to develop persuasion techniques.

The exercise includes three parts: 1) An executive with the Metropolitan Airports Commission at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport who must ensure that cab companies keep a high degree of quality customer service; within the previous year the commission has acknowledged close to 4,800 grievances about taxi drivers who decline to transport passengers transporting alcohol; 2) One of 900 Islamic Somali taxi drivers whose mosque leader ruled it was in opposition to Islamic law to carry passengers with booze; 3) A passenger who, after a long journey, just needs to get house with a few bottles of wine, but fights to find a taxi driver who'll take him or her dwelling.
