Organizing for Disaster Lessons from the Military Case Study Solution
Organizations often form information flow to enhance in a crisis. Similarly, managers are advised to create temporary organizational structures with a common cognitive map to enhance sensemaking during troubled times for employees. Other lessons include the need to eliminate bureaucratic obstacles to action to enhance the rate of reaction when lives are at stake, and the establishment of a nuanced priority system for assessing possible courses of action.
