The present economic downturn has offered managers with a tempting environment for getting "star" employees on the cheap. But the history of such acquisitions of human capital was combined, with many businesses failing to integrate their new ability. Apparently, star workers can't be only hired by an organization and then expect those individuals to automatically shine in their new environment.
